Jaime Daremblum is a columnist and editorialist in the newspaper La Nación, Costa Rica. He has also written regularly for The Wall Street Journal. He is the author of several books and numerous contributions of books, as well as articles on politics and international economics published in academic journals. Currently, he is a Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Latin American Studies at the Hudson Institute in Washington, DC.
